Ms Vertica Dvivedi, Founder WADe India Awards, Director at Bigsea Marcom (I) Pvt. Ltd. and Founder/Editor at Surfaces Reporter Magazine Editor presented the WADe Role Model award to Architect Sheila Sri Prakash at the WADe India (Women Architects & Designers) Event & Awards function on 14th May at The Leela Ambience, Gurgoan.. The award recognizes Mrs. Sri Prakash’s contribution to the field of Architecture and Design.

Studying historical buildings and the technologies used in the past will inspire them to use these skills and materials into the spaces they are currently envisioning.” – Architect Sheila Sri Prakash

Mrs. Sri Prakash was also part of the panel “Challenges for Women Architect/Designer to Start Own Practice in India and the Ways to Overcome”.  The Panel was designed to to understand the challenges faced by the women entrepreneurs in this industry and to share a professionals journey.
