Shilpa Architects has been appointed as the Design and Conservation Architect for the proposed restoration and Son-et-lumiere (sound and light) spectacle at the Thanjavur Big Temple. Built in 1010 AD by Raja Raja Chola in Thanjavur, Brihadishwara Temple also popularly known as the Big Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage site where the design will be carried out with the coordination of the Archaeological Survey of India.
