Zique a unisex Salon and Spa brand which launched its flagship store in Chennai, is set to raise the bar in the Beauty and Lifestyle business. Designed by Pavitra Sri Prakash, the Design Director of Shilpa Architects, Zique was built by STONE LOTUS, the turnkey design/build arm of Shilpa Architects.

Its luxurious, style-infused, exotic interiors paired with exclusive services and world-class quality adds an aspirational value and inspires one to stand-out-from-the-crowd. The design of the salon is a function of the overall effect of the salon – OVERSIZED! By having strategies to maximize the double height of the space – the salon is located on the ground floor and a glass encased spa on the mezannine floor. Metallic gold accents have been thoughtfully added into the space as far as possible – right from the oversized mirrors to the smaller details and purse holders for individual client comfort. The addition of a unique kids friendly area, with specialists who focus on haircuts for kids is a special feature of Zique.

All design elements have been uniquely customized for Zique, right from the mirror detailed reception table to the oversized door, which has moulded masks that glow from the lighting within the salon. Located in a prime location in Chetpet, the salon has a great tree covered parking area and glistens with its moving gold sequined dynamic façade which is easily spotted from anywhere along the busy Chetpet main road.

Being different evokes trends and Zique, a Paul Mitchell focus salon, lends this exceptional factor to its clients. It will create trendsetters across all ages and expand its horizons to promote the message of evolutionary style, across India and the world.
